G is for Ginger | A to Z Blogging Challenge

My first exposure to ginger was receiving it in our produce co-op a year or so ago. 
And then again in a juice cleanse I've done a few times since. 
I like the taste though it can become overwhelming if consumed in large quantities. I do speak from experience. 
The biggest health benefit of ginger, in my opinion, is easing stomach discomfort and aiding in digestion. I say this because I've experienced it! 

Additionally, several studies have shown ginger can ease morning sickness in pregnancy. This article tells more. 

I haven't ventured into using ginger in any recipes, other than juices. Any recommendations?
