A day in your life {February Blog Challenge}

I hardly ever have a "typical day." I mean sure, I get up, get dressed, go to work, go to lunch, get off work, come home, go to bed. All the things in between can be so different from day to day.

But here's kinda what happens in a day for me:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday I get up at 5 am and head to the Y for a 5:45 class. Sometimes it's spinning, sometimes it's Kettlebells, sometimes I run or get on the elliptical. (Tuesday and Thursday I choose to sleep an extra hour since those are the evenings I have class until 10 pm.)

After my workout I head back home (less than a 5 minute drive) to shower and get ready for work. I rush around for the next hour and then rush out the door. (Insert a shout out to my Steven here. If it weren't for him I couldn't get out the door in the mornings. He leaves later than I do so he often will get my breakfast ready, pour my coffee, make the bed and so, so much more.)

Once I get to work I work. Makes sense, right? Here's what my desk looks like. Don't you just LOVE the wall color? (Did you catch the sarcasm? I like to think of it as toothpaste gone wrong.)

Around 1 or so I head out of the building for lunch. In the past couple weeks we've had some amazing weather, and with a peaceful park nearby, it's a no-brainer where I'm going to spend my hour. This is my view.

If I don't have class after work I head home around 5, fight traffic for 45 minutes or so until I arrive home and start on dinner. Sometimes I manage to get in a walk with my favorite furry friend before Steven gets home. These are my favorite days.

After dinner, Steven usually has some studying to do so I curl up on the couch with my TV show of choice and catch up on the blogs I follow, work on my own blog, or do some freelance design if I have projects I'm working on.

And then it's off to bed so that I can get up and do it all again tomorrow!

Do you have a set routine you follow every day? or am I crazy to think that happens for anybody?
